Bare Bones Gets Shabby & Chic

I had this old bare wood  bookshelf in my sun room for years. I wanted to give it color but keep it soft.

I decided to use some of the sage green I had left over from the dresser project back in July.  A couple coats of paint and some distressing gave this bare bones bookshelf a second life.  It's going to go in my office as soon as my new furniture arrives.
